Alexander Snow & Joel Foster are a filmmaking team driven by a genuine love of storytelling, shaped by decades of hands-on experience in visual effects and feature animation. Over the past seven years, they’ve focused on building their own independent animation studio from the ground up—using it as a space to create, experiment, and grow by writing, directing, and producing their own work.
Rather than waiting for opportunities to come to them, they set out to make their own, developing projects that allowed them to learn every stage of the process in a practical, deeply involved way.
That experience has given them a well-rounded understanding of production, both creative - early story development through final delivery - and practical - budgets through managing artists across many timezones.
As directors, they take a collaborative, performance-first approach, working closely with artists, animators, and collaborators to create an environment where ideas can evolve naturally. As producers, they’ve developed a practical understanding of pipelines, problem-solving, and the day-to-day realities of getting something finished; experience that comes from being fully responsible for their own work.

As writers, they have slightly different instincts, however, that contrast has developed into their greatest strength. Joel has always been drawn to slice-of-life comedy; grounded, character-driven moments that find humor in the small, human details. Alex, on the other hand, gravitates toward action; momentum, scale, and the kind of set pieces that pull an audience to the edge of their seat.
